    Three quarter length portrait of a young man wearing black frock coat with land, coast, and sailing ship at left, plus unidentified buildings. He is wearing a white shirt and pointed collar, black stock, and has black hair, parted on left side, sideburns, heavy dark brows, and dark brown eyes.
