  • A is a miniature of James Smith wearing a dark blue jacket with blue lapel and gold buttons, purple, brown and blue necktie, and white collar at profile view. On reverse is B, a miniature of Mrs. James Smith wearing a brown dress with leg of mutton sleeves and a pink ribbon with a gold locket at a profile view. Her hair is piled up with a comb and black ribbon. Miniatures are in brass oval frame.
