    Miniature of Philip Crapo wearing dark coat with brass buttons and high white stock. He has dark eyes and powdered or gray hair. In gold oval frame.

    Research Notes:
    Philip Crapo born 1767 in Rochester, MA and died 1838. Married Desire Burrows Aborn 1801, miniature is probably a pendant portrait, painted to celebrate the marriage.
