  • Signed and dated at end: I am, gentlemen, your real friend and servant, Darius Sessions. Providence, April 15, 1775. In this edition the title occupies a single line, with "Rhode-Island" in Roman type and a band of a single ornament above. Alden speculates this may be a Newport reprint of Alden 622. Southwick was the only printer in Newport in 1775 and used this ornament. Rhode Island Historical Society holds only known original imprint. Newsbank Readex Early American Imprints Series uses RIHS copy.
