Notes:
  • First line: The happy Man was born in the City of Regeneration, in the Parish of Repentance unto Life, was educated at the School of Obedience, and now lives in the Plain of Perseverence.
  • Carter produced imprints in Providence from 1767-1814. The printers' ornament he used here is documented in his work by Reilly between 1769 and 1774. Unknown to Alden or Shipton & Mooney. Not on Readex Series.
